Our
Past and Present
Nearly 30 years ago the genesis for ReCept Pharmacy began in Fort Worth,
Texas with Plaza Pharmacy on 8th Avenue. ReCept now owns and operates
pharmacies throughout the state. From our initial beginnings in Fort
Worth, ReCept Pharmacy has grown to include locations in the Dallas/Fort
Worth Metroplex, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Houston, Waco, El Paso and
Conroe.
While the majority of our pharmacies now wear the ReCept brand, you
can find our friendly, one-customer-at-a-time service at HighPoint
Pharmacy in Arlington.
Our Commitment
The commitment of our ReCept family of pharmacies has been, and will
continue to be, to support physicians, physician groups, clinics and
their patients. Expertise in workers' compensation and compounding are
the focus of our specialty pharmacies.
Workers' Compensation
Our cornerstone remains providing the best service possible for
workers' compensation patients. It is becoming exceedingly difficult for our
neighbors injured on the job to find pharmacies willing to fill their
prescriptions. Most of our pharmacies are near doctors' offices with the
sole purpose of helping those injured on the job feel better faster and
enabling them to return to work sooner.
Compounding
ReCept Pharmacy specializes in compounded medications, which are
prescriptions made for your body and prescribed by your doctor. Our
pharmacists work closely with your doctor to find a specific strength or
dosage form that meets each patient’s need. Compounding benefits include
an ease of administration through alternative dosage forms such as:
